ah, well, I was impressed with the event overrall. I really don't have a single gripe on the whole thing. great location, real easy to find / to get in/out of the lot, friendly staff, plenty of cool drinks for the crazy hot ass day, quality of cars were top notch, crews repped hard, etc etc...

I think the fact that all the money goes to charity helped everyone kinda keep a more level head against the typical douch-baggery that always follows big meets in general. there were only like 3 times I can think of where some one was revving, not gonna throw anyone under the bus, but it wasn't a big deal to me.

I will say this though: I have a gripe about the people, please be more sensitive to the workers / staff that pick up all the trash you leave on the ground!!! I was rolling out a little late after the meet in my z31 and couldn't drive a few feet in the lot without hitting an empty NOS can or bottle or some piece of trash. If I was a cool guy I would of stayed and helped clean up, but I had other plans, sorry guys :( next ccm dallas meet, if there is a bunch of trash, I'll stick around however long it takes to help clean up. :)

Eric, AAC didn't provide us trashcan, although they do have their own clean up crew after we left. So the staff had it easy this time. =)

Amen to that! Myself and a couple others picked up all the trash in our area, but we struggled to find a place to put it.

My only thing was the need for more trash cans. Other than that, it was bad ass all the way around.

I'd like the next CCM to be at an indoor parking garage as the previous CCM 6. just my opinion..

great turn out after all. trash cans would've been nice to have too, indeed.

It was an awesome event. Not because I was helping out because I wasn't technically staff or anything. I liked the location despite the heat, loved the vendors, organized staff etc. I had no idea it was going to be like this, I was really impressed.

Gripes:
1. Like y'all said...trash. I know AAC cleaned up but damn, it was one lady from AAC. She was like Consuela from Family Guy. Started at the very end and it took her two hours to make her way like 1/3 of the way across the lot and that wasn't even the worse part of the lot. I felt bad...people had no respect for the lot whatsoever.

2. Revving. I told a guy to stop revving and he continued to do it, when I walked away, I got called a douche. Yes, after I walked away.lol

3. Exiting. People had no respect for the staff or the lot. The chained off "exit" was not an exit. Some guys took it down and fled out like jackasses. The point was to control the lot so people DON'T fly out like that and get hit. People got frustrated and started flying down the lot trying to get out.

4. Models... :-| not sure I want to go in depth with this one but several people I talked to felt the same way I did.

It was an amazing event though. Yesterday was one of two days off between classes and it was well worth the drive. I look back and meets like the Saigon mall meet and I was really impressed with almost everything. But not all of them were things CCM could control.

I dropped the chain hahahahaha. Nobody fled like morons either, we crawled out safely.

The controlled bottle neck at the exit sucked.

Trash bins were provided although admittedly probably not enough. Like Hieu said, for once this was not something we had to deal with this time. Previous meets were terrible as well and a nightmare to us all for over an hour. This time we played it smart and paid for this service. Although it would have been nice if we didn't feel a need for this.

Revving, yeah I heard a few. Although I was no where near where it was happening or else I would of stepped in also. Sorry you had such a hard time with the one Brian. Theirs no need for that.

One thing that bothered me was the ones driving around the lot blasting their music. What's up with that? I swear one guy must of had speakers mounted underneath his truck to ensure people would hear what he wanted you to hear. How lame? Maybe I ought to bring my truck next time and show them some real music. [rofl]

I do appreciate everyone coming out and how mature most of y'all acted. We do pay attention to what goes on and try to resolve problematic issues for the next one.

Keep the comments coming.

yeah, I only found one can and it was near the NOS booth. that can was also FULL / OVERFLOWING by 9pm..... the only trash that I was responsible for [and my buddy who rode with me], was a couple NOS cans and a tea cup that ended up in my hatch, instead of just on the ground lol. good on you guys for doing that though [clapper]

Don't do that next time. If you have worked at one of these events, you would know it gets chaotic when people do shit like that.

Chaotic? I didn't see any chaos at all. The only chaos was at the gate where everyone was waiting to get out, and the guys didn't want to wait.

If anything I'd say the bottle neck could be interpreted as a safety hazard. What would happen in the event of an emergency? We'd all be fucked.

I thought the event was a great success, and I had a good time. Thank you for letting our team participate and we look forward to supporting future events.

Perhaps a few trashbags distributed around the lot would have kept trash a bit more in control.

Having more trash containers would have been nice I agree. I saw 4-5 of them by the CCM booth and all of them were full. However, this is not full proof. At CCM6 in Austin, we had these trash bins there as well and when cleaning up afterwords, we found (numerous times even) cans sitting less than 5 feet from a container. What's up with that?
